Taboo Beauty is a photo conversation between photographer Keleenna and muse Olamide. Through a series of subtle images shot in my studio in London, we explored the "Taboos" created by societies beauty standards.
Through this studio session we explored parts of her body, heritage and imagination that felt less beautiful. By examining the Taboos of Fatness, Body Hair, Nails and Tribal Marks, we challenge the relevance of the external sources and narratives that drive our internal understanding of self beauty and by extension self worth.
